DIY kitchens: Simple industrial shelving inspiration
Key clamps can look great in a modern, sleek kitchen! When Tomasz from Casual DIY decided to update his kitchen, he needed a solution that would not break the bank, would look good and be durable. He also wanted it to be easy to assemble, as this was going to be a one-man DIY job.

Tomasz decided that the easiest solution would be to use Kee Klamp for his kitchen shelves and repurpose a few scaffolding boards to achieve the industrial look he was going for.
I am a fan of industrial design, bonding wood and metal in my projects. I was looking for something that is easy to put together, without welding or making threads on pipes

The kitchen shelves are attached to the wall and ceiling, with no support on the floor. The connectors are so strong that additional support was not necessary for this project.
Tomasz painted the pipes and connectors in black, matching his industrial shelves with the rest of the kitchen furniture.

The structure is now strong enough to hold both the weight of the scaffolding boards and the family’s kitchenware.
