Signs of the time- Outdoor & Indoor Sign Banner Frames

kee klamp sign frames

Signs and banner adverts are everywhere; Shops, Garden Centres, Business premises, Car Parks, Sport Clubs, Bars & Restaurants,  Motorway Service Stations, Schools & Colleges to name a few. They may be a permanent fixture, required to be re-positioned or even taken away if being used for an event such as a Sports Day, Fete or wedding.

Kee Klamp Takes To The Stage

We have many projects passed to us, however not many of them produce the “wow” factor as this one, a dance festival which sets up shop in random “secret” locations, the most recent one took its inspiration from various Sci-fi writers and created themes across the entire festival.

Industrial Tube and Upcycled Pallets

Industrial fittings, tube and upcycled Pallets

I really enjoy exploring interesting new places, this weekends discovery certainly fit that bill!

I was talking to a friend about places to go that was local to me and was a bit “quirky”, they suggested “Fargo Village” in Coventry.

Fargo Village is an independent shopping area with a lot to offer, we were initially going to check out the local cafes but were enticed by the Japanese “bubble tea” and other local shops, one of which caught my eye with its use of Industrial fittings, tube and upcycled Pallets.

Positive Outlook Clothing have totally embraced this wonderful look, incorporating it in every area of their store, from till, to clothing rails, to the actual walls, it all fits in to the theme.

Custom Display Clothing Rails

Custom clothing rails

The design team at Neo Concepts recently got in contact with us to help them create display racks of new stock in both their conference room and in one of their shop areas.

The issue they had was that the rail needed to fit in with the rest of the rails in these areas and had to be long enough to traverse obstacles such as the wall mounted radiator and their existing display unit.

DIY Storage Unit Made From Kee Klamp

image

We were recently contacted by Lisa Frykman who was interested in making a bed from Kee Klamp, after talking through her requirements I discovered that she was an old hand when it came to making furniture with Kee Klamp!

The first thing she showed me was a breakfast table using Kee Klamp, its simple design doesn’t detract from how amazing it looks,  especially when you notice the rail setup behind it.

Creating And Designing My Own Standing Desk

standing desks

I have been thinking a lot about standing desks again, my long commute combined with my hectic lifestyle, doesn’t leave a lot of time for exercise (that’s my excuse and I am sticking with it.).

After investing in a cross trainer which sees about an hour of use a week, the rest of its time being used as an expensive coat rack, I started to wonder about ways of burning a few extra calories when I suddenly remembered from my prior research into standing desks that you use 0.7 calories a minute by just standing instead of sitting.
